Why do we ask for a deposit for some transfers from Bled?
A pickup in Bled is different from a short local ride in Ljubljana. If we accept your booking, a driver reserves time for your transfer and may need to travel to Bled well before your scheduled pickup.
And yes — we have had this happen before:
“Oh, sorry, we don't need the transfer anymore.”
The problem is that sometimes the driver was already on the way to Bled.
For that reason, some transfers from Bled require a partial advance payment or deposit to confirm the reservation.
It is not because we do not trust our passengers. It simply confirms that the vehicle is genuinely reserved for your journey and that the driver's time has been blocked for your booking.
If advance payment does not work for you, that is completely fine.
We only prefer to make this clear before we spend a long time discussing pickup time, passengers, luggage and price, only to discover at the final step that the booking cannot be confirmed. 😎
For some longer Bled transfers, the deposit may be around 50% of the agreed price. The exact amount is confirmed together with the final offer.
